This has quickly become my go-to app and is nearly perfect. Rarely do I have to adjust boundaries and provides sharp images without me having to steady the phone too much. The only thing I don’t see is a default “save to” option. Having to remember to hit done is retentive enough. Having to constantly choose where it’s “done” to is overkill. Worse, is having to hit done twice when making alterations or naming, then still having to make another option after that. Everything else is perfect.
PDF export to OneDrive

Office Lens will no longer export PDF to OneDrive. It just hangs. Also I can’t save to OneDrive. Both functions worked before updating this AM.

Scam OCR App

Searched OCR, this trash MS product was first result. They use all the language of being able to convert written to digital, but it’s just another scam by Microsoft. Will they ever get their act together and quit trying to defraud the consumer at literally almost every turn?? Probably not when it’s ingrained in their culture, that’s hard to break free from. Guess I should have discerned that “Office Lens can convert images to editable Word and PPT files too”...really meant it plops an image into a Word doc lol.
Too much like a photo

When I capture a document it looks like a photo even showing a shadow from my phone. I use a separate scanner app if I want a better image of a document but really like integration with Office 365 so hope this feature improves in this app.
Drained my data and battery

At first I thought this all was ok, didn’t really have all the features I wanted, but what it did seemed to work ok. But then I noticed my phone was always accessing the network, always. Constant spinning wheel up by wifi icon. Then the app started freezing. I deleted it and the problem went away immediately.

Great app but needs a few updates. Looks terrible on iPhone X and needs a UI update to fill the screen completely. Right now it’s showing giant black bars at the top and bottom of the app. Also needs a feature where you can just auto-crop a photo but leave alone the color and brightness. I thought that’s what the photo mode does but apparently not.
