Abandonment, November 2019

HealthVault was a well reasoned response to the growth of electronic health records. It was reassuring that the resources and reputation of Microsoft would be utilized. Unfortunately, user expectations become demands, and corporate agendas change for the assumed best.

Hmm what?

No longer supported or operational after 11/20/2019. What a waste like everything else Microsoft has done lately. Forced millions to open accounts in order to get lab results only to kill the app that never worked anyway. Only people that have benefited from Microsoft lately is India, coincidence? I think not...

Support Discontinued by Microsoft

Another abandoned MS product

I really want to like MS but they keep abandoning products.

Lab Corp blood results

liver transplant patient

Lab Corp had my weekly blood work results on the last app Up two months ago earlier in 2018, since they forced everyone to open up the HealthVault app to get results I have not been able to get one result and I just found out that they do not supply results to iPhones five, six and seven. After spending hours checking I found out that you need an iPhone 8 or 10 and that is ridiculous, it had been working for three years just fine and I can guarantee you that regular hard-working people cannot afford the latest phones. This is a terrible new system which excludes The majority of regular people with regular phones. I am a transplant patient and I need to keep up with my blood work results frequently since many levels such as my potassium could cause me heart problems from one week to another. I hope someone gets back in touch with me or I will be switching lab companies who can supply a simple task as supplying blood work results which I pay for.

Great idea

Gdb&&@

I have many yrs worth of data now stored. It is primarily data I place into it myself. I have my runs and walks, blood pressure, weight (seeing it slowly increase) and I placed my scanned old medical records, Rx ect. I only with other companies would cooperated with them more, Fitbit use to work with it. I understand this is a highly regulated field (government can place hefty fines) so MS tries to reduce the risk. I fear MS will close this venture one day.

What happened

Bistline

This app used to be my favorite. It would sync with other apps and pull my medical info from LabCorp, hospitals etc. now none of the apps seem to be syncing with it. Doctors still love the emergency profile though. Just wish you would go back to how well it worked in 2015.

Needs a ton of work!!!

The idea of this app is great however, it needs a tremendous amount of work not just to make it practical but also to actually work. The reason I'm writing is to complain to Microsoft of two issues I just encountered and wanted to report to them so they could resolve these issues but just like all of Microsoft's products there is no way to contact them to complain. I just now tried to add data to my "emotional state" under trackers and the app crashed, and I tried to add data within "heart rate" under measurements and that too crashed the app. But even if Microsoft resolved these two of many problems there is still the practical issue of this product. I cannot share this data with anybody especially my doctor's office. Yesterday I had an appointment with my cardiologist and I frequently referenced this app for dates of procedures, medications, etc. and he wanted to know what I was referencing and I showed him. He said I had phenomenal records that he wished he could access, but he also noted there was no way to upload my digital X-rays, lab reports, and any other diagnostic reports from his office to my app which I wanted, so instead I have handfuls of CD ROMs that I have to open on my laptop instead of my app. This app just has very little to any practical usefulness other than recording medications, contact info, and lists of encounters and procedures. But all those things I already have within my iPhone's calendar, contacts, and notes!!! But without the ability to share all of this data, with the people who actually need it, I really don’t see this product being very useful. I wish they’d improve on this.
