The new version has me looking for another browser. It is so cumbersome to use now, primarily for those who value privacy and associated simplicity of use.

cant block ads even under 'Strict' simplr banner ads and in-screen ads are rendering.. please let users have ad-block extension functionality or increase the apps capabilities

Some programmer had a little too much time on their hands and said to themselves “what could I do to make this the most difficult phone browser a user can use?”. The whole point of updates is to make it better than before. What used to take 1 click is now taking 3-4 clicks. Terrible.
Last Update Ruined the App

I never write reviews apps but feel compelled and hope someone is listening. This last update has made Edge almost useless. It crashes at least 4 or 5 times a day. When you try to open it will just show the Edge icon loading screen with nothing happening. I have to close and reopen repeatedly to get it to finally open. Plus the change is the URL is confusing and seems to add extra touches. Bad update and here is hoping MS fixed ASAP.

Edge had been my go to browser, but the newest update (96.1054.61) has pretty much rendered the browser useless. From awkward menus and UIs, improperly displayed pages, to just plain instability, the developers have taken everything i used to like about Edge and scrapped it. If i could revert to an earlier version, I would do so without a doubt. Hopefully Microsoft fixes the myriad problems in the next update, but this current version is a dog.
