Not what it was, or could be

MGHopper

This game was fun. The latest “updates” were more like downgrades. They took away the knowledge of how much money you had to just saying “A Lot”. That isn’t helpful. I don’t know exactly what I have so I have no idea how I want to evolve my buildings. Also they brought supervisors to buildings but again there was no real directions or explanation on how they work or what to do with them. I clicked on one, thinking I would get some information, and it disappeared. There are a lot of glitches with graphics. The game locks and if you want to play you need to shut it down and restart. This game isn’t what it was when I started playing. I find myself not playing for days.

Froze right away

YarnLover

Cute game, but it froze up on my watch the first time I played it.

Reset everything

hammy9456

I got kinda far in a couple days but after I did it froze on my Apple Watch and erased everything I did, not really worth the time invested in it

Violating App Store Guidelines?

MikefromGorham

More a question than anything. Doesn’t Micropolis Premium (a monthly subscription) go against Apple Store Guidelines?

Wanted to give 5 stars but...

bubbapdad

This would be a great game. The graphics are cute and the game is well made. But, unfortunately it has bugs. It keeps crashing when I go to the main menu. Forcing me to restart the game. For that I give 3 stars.

Issue with skybox being mangled

Braguuuuuuuuuu

I gave the s game a 4 star rating due to only 1 issue. I love the game but after about 5 minutes of play the skybox will shift suddenly and will streak across the city. It’s a minor bug but the triangles that it creates causes the texture to flash making looking at the game not enjoyable. I love the game though 5 stars once fixed.

Ok for fidgeting.

Nice game for my Apple Watch. I play once in a while on the phone. Only use it as a time waster when waiting in certain places (doctors office, bank, post office, etc). Don’t like that you now have to wait 40 free gifts before grand gift. It used to be 10. I’ve heard that this is a dead end game, that you restart after advancing through all eras. I haven’t advanced much, trying to collect all tech points in each era. Anyway, it beats one of those fidget spinners. **update** While still one of the better Apple Watch games (there being so few), it’s abysmal on the iPhone. The game constantly freezes (never happens on watch). They have added cards, monuments, and a few other things. I don’t see the real value in those except to try and keep interest. Instead of improving on the solid original idea, they’ve gone off on too many tangents, hoping something is successful. Again with the waiting for 40 free gifts instead of 10 to get a grand gift, it takes forever and screams ‘pay to advance faster’. I see they now have a premium version with increased production, assumedly the original version before update they now want you to pay for. I was buying time to go through the game as I didn’t want to go through the same eras over and over. But now the first go through may even be too long. I may try one pass through the game, then go back to playing chess to pass the time. That is until the next up(down?)date.

This game is the worst

LameGameHound

I can’t say idle games are in the least bit exciting. What i can say is they generally consist of more than NOTHINGNESS. This game is a screen saver the fact that you employed micro transaction tactics in a game that wouldn’t even reward you for doing so is crazy.

The random subscription trial ruins the experience

thekylera

One of the more recent updates introduced a subscription in the form of more buffs. I didn’t mind seeing the ad the first time around, but I didn’t enable the free trial because I wasn’t interested. What annoyed me was how the window kept popping up at random times when I fired up the app. No means no. I understand some kind of funding is needed, but constantly reminding the player of it becomes pretty disrespectful of the audience.
