I am a huge Michel Thomas fan and have used the other MT app to learn Spanish. It's simply excellent and the perfect device for the MT method. The Russian app, however, simply does not work. After trying repeatedly to purchase the lessons, I'm left with only the teaser intro. Every time I try to buy a lesson I get an error message. I contacted customer support but have not heard back. That was perhaps a week ago. Non-existent functionality. Non-existent support. Stick with the other MT app until they fix it.

the most amazing language technique in the world its magic!!! so far ive spent 15$ and i know humdreds of phrases and tons of words in just 3 hours without even gettin stressed out or trying to remember anything this is legit. atleast get the free trial
Was clueless for years, learned Russian in an hour

I came to this extremely skeptical. I had been dating a Russian speaker for years but never could learn anything. This method works and though you have to pay it is MUCH cheaper than a private tutor and the teacher is perfect. You can listen anywhere and I learned so much previously mysterious grammar right away. I was shocked when I realized I had only been studying one hour versus almost nothing in the previous three years. I cannot say enough how actually useful this program is. Yay!

I have tried many programs and apps for language learning. So far this is my favorite! After one hour I was already thinking and remembering so many words throughout the day. My retention has been great as well. Also it is easy to just relax and listen. I am impressed and would recommend highly. I plan to do the entire course.

This really is the best way to learn a language-- at least at first. It's also a great supplement to a class. It's easy, not stressful, and exciting to see how much you pick up, with very little work.

I recently married a Russian after dating 10 years. 10 years and I could speak about 10 words in Russian & was unable to participate or follow conversations. I'm on hour 2 of the course now & I have learned more Russian than in 10 years! I can actually participate in simple conversations at the dinner table now!! This is beyond amazing! I had given up the hope of ever thanking his family in their own language and understanding the reply without my husband translating. Very pleases with the course itself and the price is unbeatable. Amazing! The Russian language is starting to get a lot easier! Perfect teacher, voice, and everything else! On hour 2 or something, and I think that this is DEFINITELY worth 30-40$ in iTunes money. Iv'e learned an awesome amount of Russian in two hours so far! So amazing how much you can pick up in a matter of hours! I'm so impressed .

Tried the the free version and it seemed like a quality app but way too expensive. If you want to finish the whole program you have to pay over 35 bucks. For that price they should include games and a dictionary. I'll just resort to YouTube vids for a similar learning experience,
