Too many ads!!!

App is hard to use because the pop up ads are blocking view of the stories on both the iPhone and iPad. The ads are strategically placed so that you constantly click them by accident and then It takes you out of the story. I am a subscriber to the paper, I wish that qualified for an ad free AP. It is painful to use.

Why won't it allow me to view it in the horizontal view? Why won't it let me enter any terms for searching? Every time I try to read it, I just give up. This is the most annoying newspaper app I have. I keep hoping it will improve, because I really want to read the Miami Herald...but so far, it's just not happening.

If I can't find tge Search option, I don't use the app. I don't want to be forced to go thru all to find what I am looking for.

when typing on comments and want to make changes the text locks up and you need to click done two or three times to be able to continue typing

You can't go to an archive to search for an old story. If there is one I couldn't find it.

Kinda disappointed with this new app...on the Ipad Pro it's tiny on the page...any way to have it fill the whole display?

The Herald is a good paper, but their digital department might as well be straight of the 90s, I really tried using this app for almost three months, but the functionality is abysmal, poor updates to stories, doesn't seem to match the actual paper , not up to date, etc., etc... too bad, I am willing to pay for access to the Herald on my phone, but the app is so bad it makes the paper next to worthless...

The opening page "Home" doesn't load any or unable to load content. If you move to another section too quickly, the app crashes. There's no ability to edit the sections. Sure you are presented with the option, but try and pick anything and nothing happens. One welcome option is the dark theme.

This new look is horrible. They removed the community section. The older version was better

General Feedback: This update addressed very few of the deficiencies in the previous version, and is a wasted opportunity to have brought the app up to industry standards at a minimum. Very disappointing, unprofessional and surprisingly terrible from a paper the size and prestige of the Miami Herald. Specific Feedback: Remove ads on landing page for subscribers - they look cheap.
