Hopefully you didn’t purchase a robot vacuum because with this app you will not be able to use it. The app doesn’t automatically recognize the device so you have to add it manually but you have to use the mainland China server unless you purchased a Roborock, xiaowa, or xiaowa vacuum c1. When you try to finish setting up that vacuum, you are told to use your local server. Will probably return the vacuum that I purchased as this app renders it useless. Very disappointed!

The camera itself was just ok given the cheap pricing point but the app constantly crashes my iPhone. Whenever I try to review clips in Gallery, after viewing a couple clips, the screen would suddenly turn completely black and unresponsive, then reboots the iPhone completely. Never had this problem with any apps before. Sent a feedback with bug report to Xiaomi with no response. I’m assuming they get too many of these problems to respond individually. Update 2018-08-19 with latest update, the security cam does not sleep as programmed, rather just stays on all the time. It also constantly changes the default monitoring position which require manual adjustment. ANNOYING!

App was updated and now homeguard and everything works properly! So glad because it failed to work for months. Glad they were able to fix this and now it’s in English too

Got it too work. The app is difficult to use Requires access to way to much personal info just to be able to use.
