Perpetually locks up

This used to be my favorite app but has been locking up for months. Months ago I contacted the developers, they asked a few questions (after several emails to them) but I never heard back with an answer. I have the latest iPhone and IPad and have reinstalled several times. The app is almost unusable. Disappointed because I really love this app.

Impressive, still room for improvement

Mextures is one of the few editing apps that I have felt justified in my purchase. For the price, I believe that Mextures provides great value and a high level of customization. I love that the app provides a full range of customization with regard to opacity and blending modes. I would love the ability to move different textures around on the screen and scale overlays, though. For example, sometime of the textures can be used to emulate natural light, so I would love the ability to have full control over where the texture lies on the image. Implementing a FULL RANGE of customization would bring this review up to a 5/5.

A great app that stopped support for older devices

This app worked well and slowed down the day there was a newer iPhone. Having waited patiently on a fix that never came, I cannot rate this higher than a two (despite other photo filter apps happily and speedily working on my device). :(

I love this app but it's slow

Really wish they would upgrade the interface or something because this app is amazing but slow. Sometimes too slow to bother using which is a shame because it's really good :(

As a photographer I gotta say... this app is absolutely incredible. Love all the layers you can create and the quality is so sharp and clear. Love Love Love this app

Please fix crashing issue

The app is one of my go-to apps for photo editing, but lately it’s terribly sluggish and often crashes. I’m up to date on my iOS, and I use an iPhone 6S, so this shouldn’t be happening.

Doesn’t restore my purchases

I’d love it a lot more if it restored my purchases… it says “Restoring...” but it is just loading & never stops. I have deleted the app & reinstalled it, but the same thing happens.

This is one of my favorite apps but I feel like it’s been neglected over the past couple years. Sparse updates and laggy performance. It takes me 1 full minute of waiting for it to load my photo library. It takes a full minute as well to export a photo with one simple overlay layer. It shouldn’t take this long. I’m on an iPhone-X, and I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times.

Accessibility Issues

A great, sorely hampered by the ability of accessing images. Had I known that the only way to access one’s work would be from either the camera or from the device’s storage (in my case an iPad Pro),I likely would have not purchased the app. It would have been nice had that information been mentioned in the description of the app. Now if Mextures were to allow access to one or two cloud services, Dropbox, iCloud, then I could make good use of Mextures.
