Since my last review got deleted, here it is again. Do not download! I’ve played this game from the beginning. Loved it! Even had family and friends download the app. Never had any problems. Now with the new videos for rewards, you either... 1. Don’t give you anything and waste your time or 2. give you one point yet it takes many to even get a hint. Sent an email almost a month ago about it. All they cared about was that there was a color off from the screen shot I sent about a small issue that didn’t have anything to do with the bigger problem. So you want us to pay to play now. Got it. With all the countless of times I have watched an add, you’re getting paid. Let the people play. Go back to the way it was before.

I’ve played this game for about a month now. I’ve noticed that during draws, the next double to be played is ALWAYS picked. I’ve played real Mexican train with real dominoes and sometimes the next double is *not* picked, and we have to keep drawing or play the next highest double. Not so with this game. A computer player (of three) or you draw the double 15, then the 14, then the 13, etc all the way to the double 0. It’s rigged. They want you to buy vouchers or earn them in order to get points for the only reason: put more money in their pockets. Get another game, or better yet, read a book, or go outside, or start that project you’ve been procrastinating. Anything is better than this game.

December 2021 Update So, it is crazy that I still like playing a game that so clearly cheats. Not only are the other players specifically targeting you, they also know what dominos you hold. This became so obvious over the last month I wonder how I missed it for so long. Oh well - guess the only thing to do is to delete the app. Summer 2021 Update: So after playing several hundred more games, I’ve discovered two important points. 1) This game sets the other three players against you. You specifically. They do not block each other, only you. Along with drawing the high count dominos from the pool just as you’re ready to go out and getting blocked it’s extremely difficult to win. 2) This game is no different from any other game on the App Store. The app sees you as a revenue stream and you don’t spend money when you win. So, the algorithm is designed for you to lose, and the game’s level of difficulty increases with your abilities. So while you are looking for a relaxing game of dominos, they are looking for your money. First Post I have played hundreds of games. Every time I could go out a play is made to prevent it. There is no randomness to the dominos. The developer needs to at least make some effort to hide the fact that it’s stacked in their favor. I have played dominos in person and online and have never in my life lost every single game. Try another app if you want the feel of a real dominoes game. Two weeks later. So have I won any games? Yes, two. Playing this game is by far the best choice. You will not win unless you play very well. Does it favor the developer? Sometimes I think it does other times not. Either way out of all the Mexican Train apps I’ve tried this is the only one that is hard enough to make you better at the game.

Wish I would have known that your new update would subject us players to those ANNOYING ads…I would not have updated my Ipad. Guess I will now search for another game from another app developer..then DELETE your app ?
Unable to start

I was not able to start a line because my dominoes did not contain the starting number. When I tried to draw, it wasn’t allowed because I had not put down a domino. The game also did not allow me to pass because I hadn’t played a domino. In most rules of Mexican train, if you don’t have a starting Domino to start, a person has to draw and then pass, if there is not a leading domino to play in order for the game to continue. When this happened, the game is not able to start for any of the players. This appears to be a flaw with the game. Please fix this issue.
Voucher Problem

I have been playing this game for several years. Recently, over the last several months, when I try to use the Train Builder option by watching ads, I do not get the 9 vouchers promised. Instead, I get 1 voucher per ad. Is this a bug? Are you all working to fix this problem? Or, is this the new norm?

I spent - rather wasted - my time watching videos ads from TRAIN BUILDER in order to get a hint. I get 0 hints. Each time I think it will be better, but it isn’t. Don’t waste your time. Totally inconsistent. Yesterday I used Train Builder watching a video to get a hint. It refilled it to 9. Today I did the same thing and didn’t get a single hint. The developers still have a long way to go to make that a good choice for an app.
