The biggest reason I signed up is the privacy! My goal is to get many of my friends to this platform!! The platform is a little challenging to use only because we are all so familiar with the other sites. Practice makes perfect.

It took a while to get used to the format, but I really like MeWe. I like that you can chat in the groups (and hide chats when you don’t want to participate). I also like that you can use any emoji on a post. The ability to bold and italicize on posts is also a plus. I think people will really like it once they give it a chance.

Many problems on iPad

I like the MeWe platform, but this app doesn’t work on an iPad. It crashes continually (about every 3rd click). Additionally, it’s impossible to read the comments others make on my posts. They pop up in a screen less than half an inch across - 2 or 3 letters per line. Good luck reading that! Notifications are also a problem. I don’t like banners. They interrupt me. I just want to see the little red dot (badges?) on the app icon, with the number of notifications, as there is with other social media apps. I’m not seeing these on MeWe but, when I go into the app, my groups show many notifications. At this point, the only way to use MeWe on an iPad is in a browser.

Adding friends

Confusing to add a friend. I do not want to download my contact list but want to add one friend at a time. Plus, I can’t seem to find a friend when I search.

I have enjoyed this app immensely but win I had to log back in after a hard reset, all I get was bugs and I could not log back in so guess I’ll be using something else unless you guys get this fixed. If and when you do I’m happy to use mewe again and update this review to five stars as I would have given it had it continued to operate properly.
