App is really useful for watching webms I usually couldn't. One problem is sometimes the video will pause in the middle of it and won't keep playing. Other than that it's a really solid app.

Best 2$ i've ever spent on an app. One thing I wish was available was some kind of backup saved webms to dropbox or google drive, or at least have file access in iTunes. I have so much of my storage taken up by this app.

Please add option to open link in new tab!!!! Please allow webms and mp4 to start playing in mute or match the volume level the phone is set at. Not start the video in medium volume Please allow default website to be in https It’s really annoying to have to type in the s when you want to be in https for sites. If you add those it be without question the quintessential app you need on a iPhone and every review would be 5 Star iPhone 8p Ahhhh keeps crashing on me :(

the people who made this are obviously sadists, since after two or three webms, this app spontaneously crashes. really love it when I pay for an app that crashes even after installing the latest update. you guys are great, thanks for swindling me out of my money. some sucker I am right? thinking people would make a decent app especially when they’re CHARGING YOU MONEY. fix it.

Since I got the iPhone 8, the app keeps crashing every time I open it for more than 20 seconds.
It works- that’s all I needed!!

If there were any suggestion, I would just set it to allow more full browser features (maybe it is allowed and I just didn’t see it?). I would like to change my homepage in Merlin, but that’s a tiny nit picky sort of request. So to be sure it’s clear, Merlin is a separate browser in which you can go straight to a website within Merlin and search around for a .webm video and watch it inline while you are browsing (with the option to make it full screen). OR you can go to Safari and watch there, and when you click a .webm video it will give you an option to open in Merlin and Merlin will display it full screen. If you opt to use Merlin as your browser rather than flip-flopping back and forth with Safari, it gives you tabbed browsing and bookmarking with the option to download your webm videos. On a side note, Merlin will not play YouTube videos inline. It will play them fine, but you can only watch full screen or full screen equivalent (I.e. black bars on top and bottom). Safari lets you play YouTube videos the way Merlin lets you play webm videos. I am on an iPhone 8+ with iOS 11.x and it worked perfectly in either method. No errors and combined with the flawless functionality of the iPhone 8+ it was nearly instantaneous in execution. Thank you so much to the developer(s). Well worth a couple bucks to not be limited in viewing anymore.

Waste of money. Doesn’t even work and seems like a normal browser. Maybe just a quick cash grab from the creators? Don’t waste your time or money.
