PLEASE OPTIMIZE FOR RETINA!

this app is awesome. very simple, looks awesome, but would be amazing if it were optimized for iPhone 4, and could be very useful if it had computer connection and MIDI capabilities.

just like a ts404

liqui_dave

works just like a roland ts404 but not much controllability. would love to be able to detune....some tweak knobs. but neat.

Great App, But Could Be Better

Aerimus

I've been using the free version for a long time and was hoping that since the paid version allowed you to save melodies that those files could be download and converted to ringtone. Alas, no, it saves the melody but best I can tell, there's nothing you can do with it except open it later in Melodica or share it with other Melodica users. I'd absolutely love to see a means to turn the melodies into ringtones.

I wish you could make longer melodies

Sargentpilcher

Not much practical use outside of doodling. I want to be able to write some decent length melodies but with this program you can't make anything longer than 1 measure.

Update

Nacho Cheese Bug

Update this for iphone5 and above

good sketchpad

Mordini

needs numeric bpm display to be effective!

A few issues.

Tonguey Kinkajou

Great app; just stick a few random dots anywhere, and some flourishes will get you music! However, there are a few issues: a, I noticed a seeming glitch where sliding your finger off the right side of the screen will activate the entire row touched, and the square under it on the left side; b, activating too many squares at once makes the game crash; and particularly c, your board is always 10 high and 16 long; you should be able to change those to make it more flexible.

Waste

BENJERJIM

Fun but not much to do I've seen better apps Don't get it

Please update!

I love this app but it doesn’t work with the newest iOS.

Awesome, please update

I’ve tried a dozen plus apps in this genre, but this one was by far my favorite. Deceptively simple and simply elegant. I wish the developers would update it to work with the latest version of iOS. Take inspiration from Opal, who updated Air, Bloom and Trope apps after not touching them for five or six years.
