Great app!

Our 18 month old loves these

i-amber

She squeals with glee when we give her the phone with any of the preschool prep apps on it. My only complaints are the blank pauses between her getting the item correct and the cheering characters, and the occasional crashes/game freezes. Whenever it crashes (which is most frequent on numbers), she has a concerned look on her face & hands me back my phone. However, we are anxiously awaiting the sight word apps.

Excellent learning tool

My 2 year old loves the meet the series, and I'm so glad Preschool Prep Co created these apps. Within a week he learned all his letters, and with the help of the other apps (numbers, colors, etc.) he's learned all of them as well. Since using these learning tools my son knows his alphabet better than my 4 year old nephew who's been in preschool for 3 years now.

Slow

My son is starting to show interest in letters. I already have meet the shapes which my son plays occasionally, so I decided to try this. The page the shows the letter choices is always black letters on a white background and when the correct letter is selected the next page is loaded very slowly, so much so I thought the page was frozen. The "reward" page shows a colorful letter with confetti in the background stating the letter. My son tried two letters and then quit the app. It would be nice if this app loaded quicker like meet the shapes. It would also look more interesting if the letter selection page was more colorful- at least either the background or the letters were a different color. One thing I noticed was the "reward" letter R looked like a P with a rainbow coming out of it. It didn't really look like an R to me.

Good app

This app is fun, and does teach my son his letters, BUT, the reward after guessing the correct letter is just a letter moving across the screen with confetti in the background. This gets old fast. This app would get 5 stars if it had better graphics like this company's sight words and colors games do. (those two games have the thing that you guess do an actual activity after the correct thing is guessed, which is so much more fun for the child.) but still overall good app, and definitely good for repetition and learning. Never had a problem with crashing on iPhone 4 or 4s.

Too easy to swipe back to menu

Too easy to swipe back to menu. My son is constantly swiping back to the menu which causes two scenes to overlap each other.
