While the characters are actually quite adorable, this is an app designed solely to get you to buy their other app, although that's certainly not clear with its claim to keep your entertained for "hours" . Why not label it a lite version and put an in-app purchase for the full story and activity, instead of making this a free 6 page book with a gigantic link to the app store? (and a visit to the app store written into the storyline, lol). I don't want my kids wandering the App Store, and yes, I do control this through settings, but Really? I'll keep an eye on it and see if this has been changed.
