Great, but there is one small problem...

*private*

I love this game, don’t get me wrong, but having to purchuse membership instead of buying one pack at a time is pretty lame... i just wish you could just have an option on buying, lets say, arcade, and having it forever, instead of buying all for a limited time. Otherwise this is a great game!

It’s good for beginners and casuals! Get Auxy Studio too.

This app is just not a great app for me. It’s not my main DAW but I use it every once in a while for fun. The method of viewing scenes is restricting: You can’t easily have the same loops in multiple scenes, because the copy-paste can become tiresome. Medly features 10 or so instruments for free, and honestly, the selection is decent but the sample quality is a little lacking for professional use. If you are serious about music making, try Auxy in addition to Medly. It has customizable high pass and low pass settings, reverb, flexible delay settings, customizable drum kits, equalizer, and attack/release controls. These features would greatly improve Medly. Thats why I’m only rating this app 3 stars, because it’s not really for me. For now, Auxy is my choice for professional mobile music making. While Medly is not something I use often, it’s worth a try if you’re a casual user.

So...is there a way I could just buy an instrument’s pack without getting the Member’s $5/$35 pass?

Pretty cool , for people who just want to tap and get those patterns off their brains. Not a musically trained person but I had lots of fun using this app. Felt like I was playing musical Tetris.

Amazing

The app is amazingly led out and incredibly easy to use, the instructions are very clear and the sounds very fun to use. Keep up the good work!

Amazing app but I’m not a fan of the subscription.

I just want to start out saying that I love the app. It’s easy to use and works amazingly. Medly is the best music app on the App Store, and I’ve been using it for over a year now. The problem I have is with how the subscription system works. To get more instruments you used to be able to pay a small amount of money to permanently buy a pack of them, but now to get more you have to pay a regular subscription to get all of them, including some that you may never use nor want. I understand that there are some benefits to this, the developers get more money to make more instruments for the app and it allows the ability to try all of the instruments for a much cheaper cost. I just think it would be better to have both a subscription and a way to permanently buy packs. Having both can allow the ability to try all of the instruments and also to be able to keep the ones they like permanently, meaning if you have both then people will probably buy more packs after being able to try them out and also have the option to keep all of them and pay regularly if they decide they like all of them. I think the reason people don’t like the subscription is because they want the ability to own the sets of instruments and be able to use them as they please without the fear of having them taken away from them as well as not wanting to also pay for the packs they might not want. I’m not saying that getting rid of the subscription would be better though as the ability to try all of the instruments out, as there are a lot of them and it’s pretty expensive to just buy them all, sounds like a great idea. Ideas for improving the ways to buy or subscribe to packs. - Maybe you could increase the price of the individual packs so the subscription would seem like an even cheaper option. - A free trial day every few months could allow people that don’t want to pay for a subscription to try all of the instruments, some of which they might decide to buy. - You could make a limited subscription where people could subscribe to only a few packs that they might like (around 2 to 5 packs) for a cheaper price per month (around $0.99 to $2.99) This could allow people that don’t want to pay for all of the packs to be able to still get the packs they want.

So much fun!!!

Loving how to play with this app!!!

There is static

Chris 9800

Hi. So I got this app last year and I stopped playing it because of lag and choppy sounds that come out when the tunes play. Every tune has this problem. It sounds terrible; I wonder why this is happening. My phone is not the problem. It sounds fine with everything else. This app is the only thing that sounds staticky and chopping, if you know what I mean. So hopefully you can work this out. Let me know if you can.
