I really do love this app, referred a lot of people to try it and even upgraded to pro with purchase of annual subscription before you went to monthly just to support Mealtime!! Only one recipe so far I wouldn’t try again and two that are better than ANYTHING I could EVER order from any fine dining restaurant. And there are dozens upon dozens that’s made it into our regular rotations. I use every week!! A couple of a suggestions... -Unless I’ve over looked how, it would be nice to search the recipes while still working from a current meal plan. I’m not sure how to do this without losing the current weeks plan. -the grocery list is almost PERFECT! Only wish is if we could somehow see which meal an ingredient is for since produce seems to go so fast now days. It would allow mid week shopping on some of the items that seem to wilt or go bad so quickly.

This wasn’t the app for us. Maybe just me and my spouse, but it wasn’t family friendly basic pantry ingredients. I know, my kids are boring.

Planning and Shopping Made Easier

I have been using Mealime for well over a year and I’m very happy with it. I use it with my own recipes which I transcribe using my phone’s microphone. It’s great to be able to make a grocery list and to check off the items when I shop. So easy!

Highly recommend for anyone who cooks at home. The recipes have all been delicious, and the ease of getting the ingredients at the store has made cooking at home much easier and healthier, and way more cost effective. Without a doubt this app has been one of my most used daily apps, and it has encouraged me to try dishes I would have never imagined (beet poke!). I recommend it to all of my friends who cook for their families, and I buy gift cards for subscriptions to the pro version to give as gifts. Even the things I thought were gimmicks at first, like the “hold your hand in front of the camera to advance to the next step” thing have been incredibly useful, as swiping on your screen with wet hands is gross and hard to do. My only hang up is that the iPad versions of the app aren’t as good as the iPhone version, but that it works on the iPad at all is a blessing. Highly recommend.

I am so happy I downloaded this app! I can chose which type of meals I prefer, leave out things I don’t like, meal plan for a set number of servings, have a grocery list created from the meals I’ve planned, and shop online all within this app!! It’s absolutely marvelous!

Like many others, we went down the path of trying a subscription meal service. We liked the idiot-proof approach, but it was expensive and after a while, recipes would start to repeat. Mealime is the true one-stop-shop for meal planning. Need calorie restricted recipes? Check. Allergies? Check. Looking to reuse ingredients you already have? Check. If you pay the $3/month for a premium account, the possibilities are truly endless. The number of recipes paired with the ability to order groceries online is borderline life changing. They truly could not have made it a simpler process if they tried. I couldn’t recommend this app enough!

Amounts in instructions

I like how the amounts of the ingredients are in the instructions in the sections where the ingredients are applied. Very user friendly. So far all recipes are big hits with my family. Several of the dishes are on our favorites list. Really like the shopping list too
