INTRO
In medical school, we learn a lot about diseases and the basis for their management. However, we are traditionally less exposed to apparently easy problems like pain, nausea or hypokalemia. Quite often, those issues are brought to the attention of the nursing staff in the evening. At that time, the treating team is away and you're on call, running all over the hospital.

MD on Call gives you tips on how to QUICKLY assess and manage (acutely) common problems so you can go on assessing the next patient, or to your room to get some well deserved sleep. -- it is NOT meant to replace a textbook --

Great!

I've been using this application for the last few weeks. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Although I've been doing calls for almost 4 months now, there's still some situations where I could use some help. This App is almost like having a senior resident helping you out. I also really like the Labs section. I've been using it a lot, even when I'm not on call. Strongly recommended

Impressive!
Tired Resident

Fast, succinct info. Just the way I like it. It's now on my homescreen… This says a lot!

Quite basic
Kris7890

A little disappointing for the price. The info is pretty basic and the catagories are limited. Way to $$$ for what you get.

Needs improve

Usefull app, but it need to improve some information and expand more clonical high yields and topics. It is expensive for it's content.

Weak. Spend the six bucks elsewhere. Limited info. a waste of money until it improves. Worth about 99 cents

WASTE OF MONEY
PHILLYNURSE

what a ripoff!! I want my money back..should have listened to the other reviewers..This app should not be more than FREE.

Needs work

The interface is a little rough and could certainly use some refinement. More troubling is that many recommendations are not adequately referenced to practice standard guidelines, and some references are rather obscure. Some data is just plain wrong, for instance the conversion from TDF 25 mcg/hr to po morphine is stated to be 100 mg/day (no reference is listed for this conversion)...all my resources say 50 mg/day. Hmmm...

Awesome
