Was using first version of mdcoder with no problems, this update was released too soon, at least for iPhone. Multiple issues not fixed yet. Hopefully update will fix the problems.
The Best System I've Used

Been practicing pulmonary/critical care for 20 years and have used about every charge capture system out there. This is far and away the best I've used. Allows virtual realtime charge capture and the ability to submit charges on a daily basis. For you young guys and gals out there I can't overstate how important daily charge submission is to cash flow. The first versions had bugs but these have been worked out. Plus I have found the MDCoder folks very responsive to my concerns and they have incorporated several of my suggestions.

This is the best app, by far, to keep track and capture of out of office charges, and to find diagnostic codes and procedure codes and e/m codes . The functionality for sharing patients when in call, and the new icd10 functionality make this a must have for any doctor. It is truly a real time billing and charge submission tool. No more face sheets,stickers or lost charges. The customization is limitless and support team is always there for you on a one on one basis. This makes my life easier. Once you use this app, you will understand.

I have just begun using this program to capture charges in my General Surgery practice. I have been looking for a good program to accomplish charge capture as well as to assist in rounding. I have tried out 6 or 7 different programs and have decided to subscribe to md tech's program. The interface for both the iPhone and desktop (for billing personnel) were more detailed and flexible than other programs I have tried. The sales and technical support have been excellent as well. I have received answers to questions I have had promptly even late at night and on weekends. So far I am very satisfied with the product. The subscription price, though not inexpensive is in line with other comparable programs and cheeper than a slew of others. I plan on posting follow up review info as I get more time in with it.

We are a large multispecialty group that has been using MD coder 10 for quite sometime now. It works very well for us and we are very pleased with the support and MD Tech provides whenever we have any issues. They have recently spun off the secure messaging app (MD messenger) as a standalone and we will be implementing that in our providers that do not require the charge capture piece. We are very happy with their level of service and commitment!. They are top-notch!
