Keeps working or not working. Works great when it does. But then it will decide to forget my receivers upnp for a bit then works again. Needs to be a little more consistently reliable

Dropbox Issue

I love the player but I’m having an issue playing MP3’s from my Dropbox account. The last 10-30 seconds on every song is dropped and the music pauses until the time runs out on the track, then the next song begins. I can play the same music on another player with no issues. I’m sure it’s something that can be fixed. I love the looks of the interface.

My DLNA server no longer show up after the latest update. Rendering this app to be useless.

Excellent integration with my various setups including 2 Volumio, Yamaha, Onkyo and even finds TVs. Flawlessly. Then the Qobuz integration is very well done in the that it brings in all the meta data and let’s you manipulate playlists etc. the only concern is that it should be easier loading up full playlists in the queue. The issue is you have to manually add the entire playlist to the queue not just one of the songs.

I use this app to control the Chord 2Go + 2Yu streaming set-up. Unlike other streamer controllers, I’m glad Convers continues to update and fix bugs to this affordable app. I had been using the free version, which has the features I need, but purchased the app to show my appreciation to the developers. The cover art for tracks appear in high resolution. To display art in folders, name the jpg file “cover” in each respective folder. I like being able to clean up and remove cloud services I don’t use. As a slight improvement, I would like to be able to remove devices that mConnect detects, but don’t use. I’ve also used mConnect to use my iPhone as a digital audio player (DAP) for bit-perfect play to an external DAC. Thank you, Convers, for a developing and updating a reliable app.

I am using this with my S.M.S.L. SD-9 Streamer to play back MQA files from TIDAL. The app has gotten minimally better since July 1, 2021. When I began using it on my iPhone 11 it was considerably unstable, losing connection (all my equipment connections are hard-wired, so it was not WiFi related) sometimes making me have to unplug the SD-9 before the app could find it again. That disconnection and reboot has gotten better, but still can occur if I don't play the SD-9 for a few days. I leave my equipment on all the time, run it through a Furman DMi 15 power conditioner, and we get almost zero power outages. There has been a serious issue with truncation of playing songs in the queue. I have finally eliminated that truncation (of the last 18-8 seconds of a song to move to the next one in the queue) by acting as a DJ and singly selecting individual cuts to be played. PAIN IN THE ___! I can't figure out if it is the app, or the DAC, but every now and then right at the start (before any music is heard), there is a sharp loud sound of (I think) digital noise. VERY LOUD. So loud that I worry about speaker damage. I have gotten used to turning amp down to -80dB before I select the XLR input from my Gustard X16 DAC, which is fed by the SD-9 Streamer. mconnect has seemed to be doing a better job of updating the app than has historically been the case. I look forward to an app which allows all the search and sorting functions that TIDAL currently has available. When the song truncation stops and the TIDAL interface is up to date, I would consider raising my rating to 4 Stars. BTW - DON'T even waste a second on the mconnect lite app. Total waste of time.
