Needs updated
Jerrund

App needs an update to work on iOS 11. It was a great program that has apparently been abandoned by the maker.

Please update for iOS 11!!!
Zedicai

I miss this game, can’t play it any more since iOS 11. The icon just sits there taunting me... and I would love to play this online against other players! But first let’s get it functional again. ?

Addictive
PDS-PDS

Just as addictive as the original! My main requests are: a) save the game in progress when the app closes, b) allow six players, and c) allow me to see my unplayable tiles somehow. Otherwise this game's great!

Great game

Only thing better would be if u could play against ur friends online.

Good version
Lovebomber

I'd love to see an option to allow you to add and remove stock before you complete your purchase. Please work on adding multiplayer.

Bare bones, but works

Since there doesn't seem to be anyplace on the author's site to provide specific feedback, I'll have to do it here. The game works fine, but there could be many improvements to the usability that would make it much better: - allow players to choose the color of their pawn, - make the colors of the pawns clearly different from the colors of the hotel chains, - highlight each newly played tile as it's placed (color the icon black temporarily?), - change the house icon to something more hotel-like or get rid of the icon altogether, - show the location of my unplayable tiles (mark with a gray x or a dot or something), - offer to exchange unplayable tiles for new playable ones (per the original rules), - in the Detail table, add a row showing the size of each chain (and perhaps highlight safe chains), - in the Detail table, highlight the human's row (light shading?), and - when selling stock (normally, or after a merger), allow players to change their mind before clicking on Done, either by reverting to the original situation, or better, by allowing them to reverse their choices bit by bit. Good first version!

Excellent!

This knock-off of the board game Acquire is extremely well done. The interface is great, and the AI is superb. I agree with others that some improvements would be beneficial -- such as having different colors for players vs hotel chains, separating the listing of bank holding from player holdings, the ability to change your mind before clicking on "Done", etc. The only flaw that really detracts from proper strategy and game play, in my opinion, is the inability to see temporarily unplayable tiles. (Couldn't those easily be make to show up in grey?) All said though, I think this app is superbly done. And for just 99 cents it's a steal! Highly recommended!

Love Acquire!!!

I absolutely love the board game acquire. This is well done overall. The feedback I would have to improve upon this would be the option to hide everyone else's positions. That is how we play, and makes it much more challenging. Also, we play the version with power pieces that include take five, three free, play four, and trade two. You can use each power piece once, and it definitely adds to the strategic nature of the game. Glad this game is out there. Would love to see and ipad version of this with a few more options. Nicely done.

Good but...

It would be awesome if you could play against your friend online

Best board game out there
AddledAdult

This is a faithful adaptation of a phenomenal game. 6 stars. Get it and thank me that you did. Two notes for the developer: 1) neither patent nor copyright nor trademark law should be preventing you from using the stock valuations from the original game (2, 3, 4 instead of 3, 4, 5), so please switch that. 2) show the unplayable starter chips instead of just having them appear blank; it's unduly detrimental to one's ability to plan ahead.
