普通のパカパカ携帯で会員登録した後、iPhoneの携帯でログインしようとしましたが、できませんでした。iPhone用に会員登録し直さないとクーポンが使えないようです。

Speaking Japanese is not enough to order a burger in Japan. You need to be able to read Japanese to get coupons and read the menu at MacDonalds Japan. 7 years till the Olympics in Japan. How English friendly will MacDonalds get by then?

Too many worthless updates

Mcdonalds Japan provides worthless updates too often. They just renew the store list, so this time I skipped the updating. Ten I just found out pop-up window saying "update now or you can't open this app."

何が変わってるの？いちいちアップデートさせないでよ。マックなんてそもそも月1ぐらいしか使わないのに。アップデートしなくても使えるオプション残して！What's the point keep updating n require it to customers. I always have to update when I need to use the app and it really irritates me!!!

App now requires personal info for coupons

The old version of the app was fine. You would receive discount coupons just for using it. Now, all the coupons are locked unless you give McDonald's your Email address, as well as your street address, date of birth, and gender. Sorry, McDonald's. Too much personal info in order to save 50 yen. No thanks... (Too bad, really. I used to use the app all the time. Now, I'll be deleting it.)
