Good game but

Big Fish is greedy. Too bad because developer has a nice game

bigfishgame is a nightmare

snack it

Despite the fact that this game is a real masterpiece i give it only 1* for the outrageous habit that this publisher has: multiple full screen ads with barely visible close button in the game for which i have paid money! this is unacceptable and I suggest to the studio Mad head games to leave that greedy bigfishgame publisher forever.

It is a shilling maze

If you want to loose sleep this game is for you, it has a healthy quantity of fear and a pinch of madness. I rather thought the game itself was short in comparison to other games the developers have created, but I never pass up a chance to play their games. As usual you have journal, collectibles and bonus play, but don't go in expecting this to be a queen of flames type of game nor is it rite of passage. It is scary, not for the faint of heart. I usually love the soundtracks they use but in this instance i chose to play with no sound because it was that scary. Happy gaming!

Scripting error and programmers code came up but that's a good thing

MikkiW

A scripting error and programmers code come up across the top of my game telling me that something was wrong in some line of code causing me not to get the feather when the bird got shot going through the door stopping me from going forward. But I was actually glad it did. Because that error confirmed my resolve to stop playing and ask big fish for my money back. This is not only one of the darkest, depressing sickest HOPS I've ever played, but it's also one of the most BORING. I was playing it cause I downloaded and purchased it. But I wasn't really enjoying it at all I play probably 3 different HOPS a week....never asked for money back because a game was so depressing and dull. Rather than feeling spooky playing it,I feel icky and sad...and we'll just board. Sorry. .

I am Running Through This Maze Fast! 360 Degrees of Creepiness!

KimTwilight69

As you find out as the story progresses, you are driving down a dark, curvy, and narrow road during a storm; and as you grow weary, you veer off the road. You wake up in a motel room, which you checked into; and a child's voice is speaking to you over a loudspeaker that you need to find your way out to prove your worthiness. Will you pass the test? This game screams of creepiness galore and is disturbingly twisted. The graphics are very dark and broody using many shades of browns, grays, and black to create an ominous, menacing environment. The artwork portrays a chilling and suspenseful mood as you explore the dilapidated, abandoned motel. The little girl is a real bugger and is going to give me nightmares. This game is reminiscent of Dorian Gray: Brink of Consciousness with a villainous voice taunting the main character. There are four modes of difficulty with the option to customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The fast teleportation map, located under the menu, indicates available actions in custom mode. You have a journal, which includes your objectives and holds some clues; however, the clues did not help solve any puzzles or actions so far. There is a beneficial back button, and transition between scenes is smooth. Locations are labeled between scenes. Sometimes you are given a choice to make certain decisions to affect an outcome, such as either promptly opening a door or investigating first. You will also have flashbacks that initiate upon touch of certain objects; you will interact in these flashbacks. The HOS are mainly word lists with some interaction; another type was to find items on a picture in accordance with the little girl's narration. The puzzles were very fun and relative to the storyline. You had a clue based puzzle where you find three sets of numeric codes in a room by interacting in your environment; then you enter the codes on the door to get out. Another type was when the room fills up with water, and you open a chest to play a maze puzzle to deplete the water. That was a twisted idea! You collect spirals in the locations and morphing objects in the HOS. You have a spiral indicator to the right of the inventory bar. The extras include your achievements, jigsaw puzzle, and character gallery. Overall, there is nothing negative to report except for placing the map and journal under the menu. But this game is very entertaining with an innovative storyline containing some twisted elements. It's a must play!

Awful Game

Stupid, bad graphics, boring, a waste of money!

Great game, but not for kids!

I almost certainly in the minority here, but I am very, very tired of the seemingly never ending parade of icky sweet games from BFG. My favorite game is True Fear, and this one reminds me of that gem. It's disturbing, and has no cute fairies nor smiling elfs that you get to dress. The game play is different and a bit twisted. I don't often review games here, but this one I felt deserved special note.

Creepy fun. Loved it.

Awesome!!

I really liked this game. It had the elements of adventure, Hidden object, and escape games all in one. It was not too difficult which I walk in a game as I play games to chill out and relax. And because of the horror elements it was exciting to play. A nice twist on the adventure type game.
