Entertaining but...

I unlocked everything to the highest level and made it to relatively high levels (50+) and I have yet to see or unlock the proclaimed "last monster." Despite trying to get in contact with the creator (and failing), no efforts have been made to tell me what's wrong or even what I haven't done to unlock it. All I want to know is what is looks like. Other than that, very entertaining and fun! Monster is called The World. If anyone has any information on this, P L E A S E let me know.

One of the Best Runner Games Out There

I've decided to leave a review on the game only now because I don't play it as much anymore, therefore will be deleting it soon. Regardless, Maze of Darkness is one of the best runner games out there! It has a twist of horror to it, and is just as addicting (in my opinion) as Subway Surfers. Don't know how many levels there are (currently at level 25), but the change in environment every few levels is nice, and the monster designs, while following a limited color palette, are still very unique. The only things are the difficulty is a bit extreme past level 13 or so, and occasionally the game will bug and the walls will all be down. The sensitivity is also a bit high, but other than that, this game definitely holds a place in my Game Hall of Fame! Nice job!

Clever genre shift runner

This game knows what its aiming for and does it well. It took the two genres of horror and runner and mixed them beautifully through one simple yet clever change to the gameplay. The punishment for reacting too early. This game forces the player to wait 'till their looking death straight in the face to decide what the have to do instilling suspense in a fast pace game, something thats not easy to do.

Surprisingly Addictive

I tried this game ages ago on a whim, and I keep finding myself coming back to it. It's pretty simplistic as far as runners go, but the diversity of enemies and the easy-to-learn gameplay make it really fun.

I love this game...it's like temple run but scary. It's really scary when you play with headphones, and I love how the monsters are named after tarot cards. I also like the limited graphics...it makes it more scary and easier to focus on making the right move. Please update to the new iOS, or no one will be able to play this game.
