The Matterport 3D Capture System provides a full end-to-end solution to quickly and consistently capture and create dimensionally-accurate and visually-realistic digital models of interior spaces.
The Matterport Capture App is the first step in creating your own 3D model of a physical space:
Step 1 – Capture: use this application to quickly capture depth data and imagery of a space when connected to supported cameras such as:
• Matterport Pro2 3D, Pro2 Lite 3D and Pro 3D
• Leica BLK360
• Ricoh Theta Z1
• Ricoh Theta V
• Insta360 ONE X
360 cameras such as the ONE X, Theta Z1 and Theta V leverage Matterport's Cortex AI to synthesize depth data.
Step 2 – Upload and View: The captured data is then uploaded to the Matterport cloud for processing. Users can log into My.Matterport.com to view their processed 3D models.
Step 3 – Experience and Share: Experience and share 3D models through the visually stunning Matterport 3D Showcase or launch Workshop to customize, measure or annotate the models.

This is simply put the future of the real estate business. If you have not looked into this application to support your real estate marketing, you are not doing the most for your clients. Using Matterport's camera will minimize the showings you do for your buyers by giving them the opportunity to walk through 5 homes on their lunch break. You will see an increase in showings that actually want to purchase the home, and not just kick tires. Thank you to the MP team for the hard work in putting this together for us!

We have been using Capture since September 2015 at Metropex360 to create almost one thousand 3D Spaces. The simplicity of this app hides a complex 3D point cloud capturing, registering and stitching system for reality capture. Matterport could not have made it easier! I would highly recommend that all users watch the Matterport Academy YouTube series to gain more insight and learn best practices for creating the best spaces. Additionally, don’t skip the built in documentation! There is a wealth of information available to enhance your experience!
