Very Logical

This is the best iPhone app that I have seen for actually learning to read. It is very difficult to come up with an app that actually makes them learn, because there are so many other temptations, such as action games like Spiderman. I actually created a game to help my son learn to read using a computer database application called Filemaker, but keeping their interest is hard. If something gets a little hard or the reward is not enough they simply open another app. Anyway, a small recommendation for this app would be to also say the word after they make the correct selection. Probably after the animation. The way I did it was have a picture of the object, with four words. Regardless of what selection they made it went to a new picture and words. If they made the correct selection it made a sound, said the word, and the word was removed from the active list. If they made a wrong selection it flashed the correct word and went to the next image and words. Eventually they will have correctly guessed every word and the game is over, giving them a score with a voice saying "Good Job". There are 1000 words and images in the directory, and with a password the teacher can select what words are in the active list. But my learning tool can only be used on a computer with the database application installed, so it is not a sellable product. But you have my compliments for a very good job.

Sound does not work properly. There is not a way to get back to the home page. Waste of money, this is an app that is still in beta! I am hoping for some updates to these simple options.
