Horrible for iPad

hj1973

it says it supports iPad....not really. you get a tiny screen and horrible graphics. i cannot even see the game to even tell you how well or not it plays. total waste of money. i will update this if they ever fix it. Othwise, do not bother for your IPad.

Locks up

Bribentyl

I can't even get past the screen that asks for my name. Waste of money.

Doesn't work on iPad

Kimpossible :)

The game loads then I can't get past the "enter your name" portion. Contacted the developer and they have no response other than to refer to iTunes, since that's where the game was purchased.... iTunes refers back to Gamehouse....all this for $2.99....spend your hard earned cash on another game!!

Not worth it!

Chickonwheels

Terrible terrible!! Won't let me into play it. You can't even get a refund for it!

Fantastic Game

TerranceDC

Just finished it. This is a fantastic game. It's challenging without being impossible. It's got a variety of puzzle types. The hint system is very good I never ran out of the of hints (Came close a few times.) It's got an engaging storyline. I can't wait to check out part 2. The only thing that stood on the way of a five star review was the tendency of the game to stall on start up or take a long time to start. Maybe that's the source of the negative reviews. Maybe part 2 fixes that problem. But if you can get it up and running, it's a great game.

Very enjoyable, hidden object with a plot

i Love iToys

I really like hidden objects with a purpose and some puzzle solving. I do not like the ones that just take you from (tedious) ho search to ho search. This one is very nice with 3 styles of ho search for variety. You visit various spots on the island to apply objects to move the story forward. The search was a pleasure, just the right amt of difficulty. No need to click randomly or use a ton of hints. Images were bright and scenes looked sensible, not just jumbles of nonsense objects. I was going to take off one star because the puzzles are too easy with the puzzle clearly highlighted and then the text telling you what to apply. No way to turn off. No other mini-games. And, while I enjoyed Macy's British accent, the script in which she leaps wildly to conclusions and sounds perpetually anxious. But I liked the game a lot and the low price for both this and its iPad sequel makes up for the quibbles. I was ready to buy #2 as soon as I finished but the reviews say it is buggy. Too bad! I'll wait a bit.
