Unfortunately not much has improved.

Very disappointing. Crashes incessantly and does not provide the needed information. I am surprised that a marathon of this caliber would have an app that is so disappointingly ineffective. Should be removed from the App Store.

This app did NOT help track runners

What a poorly constructed app. The “track your runner” feature is incredibly awkward (keeps kicking you out, off the app and into your browser) and even worse—it does not really show you where your runner is! Throughout the race, the icon representing the runner just floated, weirdly, off the map. Spectators stood around comparing phones, trying to figure out the app with strangers, to no avail. Even worse, we signed up the night before for text updates on our runners… All day, and throughout the marathon, we only received one text, simply saying that our runner had made it to the 5K Mark. No more information offered. We sincerely hope the new app design firm is secured for next year!

Useless app

Nothing works ... signed up to track runners. Received initial texts indicating that I am successfully tracking my Athletes, but I received no texts. Went to app to check in results, keep getting booted out of app. Very disappointing

Only the map is useful

Don’t use this to track a runner! It won’t update you on their location but maybe 2 times if your lucky. I used the app for the map then tracked my runner on Life 360 app.

My wife regularly runs marathons and when she ran NYC the app there gave us regular updates on her progress. You can’t track runners and see where the are in real time. Utterly useless. I only got the updates 4 hours after she had finished...

No alerts sent to friends. Can’t search results due to it crashing 100% of the time. Oh, and a 10-screen verification system??? Start over on the design.

It was better than not knowing but didn’t send text alerts and had to keep putting runner’s name in to track while at the race. We could get an idea to where our runner was, but not perfect.

Got 5k update after race finished. Nothing else. Reentered data several times. Why even have the app!?

No Improvement in 2018

I signed up to track my buddy via SMSon Thursday before the race . Received the confirmation I was tracking my buddy. Race day arrives I will say I received the 10k pace and that was it . No other SMS , I went to the app to see if I could find him there , nothing. I even signed up gain for SMS since I didn’t get any other updates. My buddy finished the race and that was the only way I was able to find out he finish he’s and his time. I get the he finished the half way point 2 hours after he finished . By time of this review, I still have not received the finish SMS and it is over 6 hours after finish. Don’t waste your time with this app.
