I enjoy this app! I like that I can turn on features to see gas stations and food in the area.
Can’t login

I have a Mapquest account with saved maps I need to access. When I click on the login screen, it opens the in app browser to log in, but after completing the steps, it doesn’t redirect to the app, and opens mapquest in the in app browser. When I close out of the in app browser, I’m not logged in!

This is the app I like best for determining mileage for work travel. And it saves the destinations for future use!
Clumsy with diminishing good points

MapQuest does not have the ability to stay logged on after the device powers off then back on like Google Maps, HereWeGo Maps, and Waze Maps do. Can't do GPS coordinates. Can't do voice to text in address fields. Support writes back but is unknowledgeable. Still using 2 fields for Find Places and Get Directions is inexcusably behind utilitarian interface design. Interface is clumsy and the development team seems to have no interest in improving it. In Jan 2020, it couldn't even sign in, not that it could keep you signed in after leaving the app anyway. Fail. Dev team doesn't care about its end users.

I don’t get the purpose of logging in to Mapquest using the browser through the app. It doesn’t stay signed in on the app, and there is only a “cancel” option to close that session. Even if you just close out of the app it doesn’t keep you signed in. I’m confused about that.

...Until my son, daughter-in-law and grandkids were headed to the Oakland Airport very early this morning. My own car has a navigation system and so I’m spoiled. But we took my son’s travel-packed car; a 10 year old Honda CRV (great car), with no navigation system. I loaded the Mapquest app this morning as he drove to the airport for the first time from the North Bay. We were there in no time. Then, the ride back was a breeze after I dropped them off. I was a little nervous about driving back by myself from the airport, but Mapquest delivered! I was back home in the North Bay, safe and sound in about 35 minutes! Amazing! Thank you, Mapquest! I’m senior citizen who is fairly tech-savvy for my age group, but let me tell you...this app is so user friendly, anyone can use it! Thank you! ❤️
