I play constantly, but stuff about it pisses me off

Great game, played gms since in the 2000s before Nexon destroyed it. This here is the future of maplestory. It is fun to play! However, it is treated like it is MaplesStory lite. Not as much to offer as the good ol gms I knew. Trading items is a HASSLE in this game and it pisses me off more than anything. An item was once tradable, and suddenly isn’t? What the hell? You can’t trade items with friends. You can barely sell anything. It’s very, very annoying. They need to incorporate a free market and trading amongst people. If this is to deter meso sellers, you are only worsening the game.

this game is nothing but a cash grab

long story short this isnt the port from pc experience you may be looking for. its a very cash shop forward game, it practically makes you pay cash if you want to get anywhere. not to mention i played the game for 3 hours and didn’t see a single person... i felt like i was playing a single player maplestory that has auto quest and auto fight bots on it. such a shame, i was really looking foward to a good port. runescape did it so there is no excuse as to why maplestory decided they wanted this cash grab of a game to replace a really good experience. if the devs are reading just know if you had made this game like the real maplestory you would have had a lot of my time and money but i cant even fathom spending money on a game with no social aspect, does all the fighting and questing for you and pay walls. such a shame.

I spent quite some money to make my main the best, but f2p is really possible and fun by playing several alts, and explore the game with more than 10 classes. I love nostalgic arts, which old MS players can relate to. Give it a try, game does keep you playing.

After 4 months of playing , I’ve taken a break due to lack of content. It’s literally grinding the same bosses for a small chance at an item. The upgrading of items is based on how many alts you can make to farm daily boss dungeons for the mats. This all gets really boring after a month. I tried but I’d rather dedicate my time towards another game that actually has content
