I used it on a sandrail ride in the middle of nowhere at least an hour away from any cell service. I worked great. I gave away my off road GPS. I highly recommend it

I really do like the app and it works so much better than Strava except in one key area. The Facebook posting doesn't include a snapshot of the ride but rather just a label. For this single reason I use Strava. @MapMyTracks please include a snapshot of the ride when "sharing" the ride. This will make it a 5 star app.

It's a great tool to measure yourself and it keeps track of your every day rides. You can see your average speed and much more. You can turn your screen off so you can save your battery.

I use this track my mountain bike rides, it does most everything i need it to. Straightforward operation; i learned to use it while road riding on my way to the woods. I wish there was a better summary / list view avail on the iphone, and easier exports of kml. Certain tasks are available only on the paired website.

Crashes, does not sync with the website, probably I have to become paid member. It use to be better, but haven't used for a while and now it looks like I cannot anymore
