Map My Mind offers single player modes, as well as online leader boards, which will allow the players to measure how much they know about a given subject and compare themselves to other players in their region, country or even around the world.
By harnessing the power of mind maps, Map My Mind puts the player’s knowledge and brain to test, with themed maps built out of related concepts which can be explored by solving trivia puzzles, so that he may establish himself as the true king of sports, movies, history or any other trivia that you can imagine.
Map My Mind comes with a huge number of questions and 15 maps to keep you entertained for hours. Test your metal if you dare.
This is a great game. It's essentially a trivia game, but it adds in new elements like the map, lifelines, and minigames. There are lots of different "maps" featuring different types of trivia, and each map has easy and difficult questions. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good trivia game. I found it really addictive and well worth my three dollars. The idea is creative and different and that's something you don't always see with trivia games. The only complaint (and suggestion to the makers) would be that the tutorial is a bit confusing. It tells you that you can move around and then says "try it now." Once you do, nothing happens. I had to go the main menu and simply start a game. However, once you start a game it does tell you what everything is and how to use it, so I figured things out pretty quickly.
It IS compatible with the Ipod Touch. Maybe you're not taking the tutorial on how to play? Whatever the reason, it's compatible, don't worry.
Looks good as most do - but it doesn't functions properly and the questions are stupid and extremely limited in scope. A bad idea gone worse.
Jeeze where to begin... This game was totally worth the $3. You can stay ebtertained for hours (I just had to stop after 3 hrs cuz of battery) amd if perfect for staying entertained. Pretty useful for classes, as far as getting in the mindset for a certain class is concerned. Well worth it!
First app I bought, totally worth it! Both educational and entertaining, with a fun interface! Keep up the good work!
I love this app - it's creative, fun, unique, and educational. BUT if you are playing the "map mode" it quits part way through and says you are finished. Very unsatisfying. If that is fixed I will give it 5 stars, but otherwise it's not worth 2.99.
I wish I had bothered to check the dates on previous reviews prior to purchasing. This app is not being actively developed and updated. It looks horrible on iPhone 4. It crashes. It will not save your progress unless you sign into their non-existent Agon online service which, it turns out was shut down 18 months ago. This should no longer be sold in the app store. It's a shame because it was a good concept and in the right developer's hands it could be a great game. Unfortunately, as it stands, it was a waste of my money. Shame on Apple for selling dead apps.
