This is a great app because it does one thing and does it without nonsense. The "updated for iOS 7" version left the advertisements covering the buttons. This seems to have been fixed (??). Still, the button labels are unreadable until triggered, so one star lost for that.

Got a mandolin for Christmas and couldn't tune it so left it aside for MONTHS. Then I stumble upon this wonderful app that gives me the confidence to get started! Thanks :)
Simple and solid

I was expecting an ap does the work for you, "listens" to your mandolin and tells you when you're right. But, it just plays a good clean note. It forced me to develop an ear quickly. Very happy looking no further for a tuner.
