Yep. That about sums it up. Web cams are not as good. A lot of the same pictures. I’ve seen some of the same ones for over a week. During storms they never update or on crowded days. Also the lift status is usually never right. Sometimes it’s correct. Just sometimes. The trail map is not very good either. You can't zoom or look at parts of mountain. It has zero interaction And who wants to check in via Facebook? So they can steal more of my information?

I think there are some bugs in this version?

My home mtn even though I live in so cal, could not be happier with the job they do, from grooming to safety and everything in between. Highly satisfied and recommend it to all my friends, been coming here for 40 yrs.

The mini achievements that track your runs are like living SSX3, arguably the best snowboarding game for PS2 ?

I find that having access to real time chairlift status to be indispensable when I’m on the mountain on a stormy day. I also enjoy using the Track feature (although speed data can be somewhat suspect).

Amazing skiers mountain. A perfect blend of modern and old California. Everyone is friendly and so are the guests. If you are into skiing volcanoes and varied unpredictable conditions, this is the place.

Add link to Howard’s report. Give 10 day forecast. Remove having to us Facebook to use friend locator.

Love the many features and map. The app doesn’t have accurate weather reports but conditions reports are otherwise good. Easy to use but tracking progress turns off at lunch so if you forget to re-start you lose tracking of afternoon runs. Convenient

As a frequent user of the Squaw Alpine app, which needs some improvement, I found the Mammoth app to be just... bad. The only redeeming feature is the functional map. So what’s not good? 1. The Check-in is inconsistent, and if you miss the auto-check-in, you need to realize that “track” is what you need to hit. The stats are really poor. No info on which runs or lifts you used. The worst? No way to track your friends on the slopes. There is a feature... it just doesn’t work. I tried every which way to make it work, but it’s so poorly executed, that I gave up and just used Google maps location sharing instead. There is no info on lift wait times. The browser-based pull for “Dine”, “Play”, and “Save” options is not a great experience either. Bottom line... Mammoth, build a better app!
