Landscape?

RiveraGirlNY

Landscape view please? LOVE that it's "real" mahjong! Finally!

So so

abner2xday

Good app for those who like to play mah Jong. Two things keep the rating at three. One it is easy to discard the wrong tile. It would be nice to swipe the tile away instead of touching the discard button. Two I'm not sure how one would determine how strong the computer opponents are playing. Sometimes the game seems easy to beat

Game is almost great

Veebz1

This game is like a sketch of what it could be. There is no audio or sound effects whatsoever. The game's landscape is pretty basic. There is no multiplayer forum. Additional Problems: The ad banner sometimes blocks me from leaving the different hand description page (which forces me to restart the current hand losing whatever I was working on). Some of the advanced hands will not activate hu when they are supposed to. [i.e.] Thirteen orphans and seven pairs did not work. I also found the discard button to be easy to make mistakes with. I hate to be critical of this app, but its the only apple application I've seen that offer real mahjong and it's a shame that it is so rough around the edges.

Needs polish

Akiko86

It's awesome to finally have a real mahjong app, but there are a few problems. UI is clunky - tile discard selection could be more intuitive, need a zoom function, would like the last discarded tile highlighted so I know what the game is offering to let me pung/kong. Also, while the game describes 88 point limit hands in the rules, it doesn't recognize them when they happen (I have screenshots to prove it). Fix it and I'd happily pay money.

Real mahjong

Eldigan

Good real mahjong game. A bit clunky, but generally good with English translations.

Pretty good game play, BUT

Littlegreykat

...please redo the discard tile method. It's way, way too easy to throw away wrong tile! otherwise, it's the beginning of a great app that I would clearly have no problem paying $$for.

Scoring issues

KHsiang

Some scoring hands are missed especially 7 pairs and wins off kongs. It's also a bandwidth and battery hog. However, the issues can be resolved.

The only legit mahjong app

Onbreak

I've been looking for a legit mahjong game on the app store (not the pairing game) and I found one. The app used to be really good despite the bad resolution on the iPhone (looks really good on my iPad), but the recent update is buggy and makes the app unusable.

Why did you mess with it?!

Whymesswithit

This WAS the best Mahjong game - why did you mess with the tiles? The playing tiles seem slightly larger which is fine except they interfere and overlap the revealed tiles; makes it more difficult to select the proper tile to discard. But worst of all, you've made the discarded tiles much too small - VERY difficult to review what's been played! I don't even mind the ads you added but please rethink the proportions of the tiles.

What happened?

This apps is no longer working on my iPad after the last update. What happened? Can you please fix the problem? Thank you.
