I have tried many Mahjong apps and deleted most. This is the #1 Mahjong game there is, in my opinion. Try it and I know you will enjoy hours of fun. It's addicting. I've reached level 500! It's getting harder, but I love, love, love it!

"Free" is misleading

Yes, it's free to download this game, but that includes just ONE new tileset or background -- the rest you can either purchase or earn by watching "videos" (ads). Trouble is, it takes a lot of videos to earn just one tileset or background. The one nice thing is that you can create your own tile layouts and publish them so others can use them, although the process is tedious. You have to add each tile, then move it to where you want it. However, it's hard to do this with average-sized fingers on an iPhone screen, plus the layout grid has a "snap-to" feature that makes it difficult to control the tiles you're creating. Bottom line: I deleted it after an hour, which is how long it took me to watch enough "videos" to earn a second tileset.
