The goal is to clear the board by removing all the matching identical pairs from the layout.
A valid pair consists of two tiles which are both "free" and "identical" (or of the same type).
In more details, you can remove a pair of tiles if the following condition are true:
The tiles are identical (e.g. 4 and 4, West and West, etc.)
All of the seasons and flowers can be matched with each others, they don't have to be identical.
Each tile of the pair must comply with the following rules :
- No other tile is lying above or is partially covering it
- No other tile is lying to the left or to the right of it

I love this version of mahjong but it keeps crashing on me. I have to continually reload it. I have been playing this game for several years. I wish the bug could be fixed so it doesn’t keep crashing.

Looks cool... but I can only select one tile and not its pair. So this is pointless, you can't even play.
No unselect option

There are no options or tools for this game. No unselect or shuffle that is usually present in tile game. No way to win.

Sadomasicism in app form...most games allow only a couple moves. Over half of the 96 games cannot be solved. No hints, no help, just frustration. Only download this if self flagellation just won't do it for you.

I enjoy this puzzle, it is almost impossible to win, but maybe it is too hard. You might let us win now and then, to keep us trying.

This is the Mahjong I've been looking for. The tiles are easy to read. Very clear, peaceful graphics instead of splashy graphics which can take away from complete concentration on the game. I enjoy the option of the classic layout which is hard to find on many games. Great app!
