When I get board with my I pad games and challenges, I head to my Mah Jongg games. I play every one of the boards before I go on to something else. The dogs and cats were a fantastic addition

This is the third revision of my review for this app; it's maintaining wonderfully, very stable, lots of options, crisp graphics. This is my one and only mah-jongg app; with so many options, I need no other maps. This is the second revision of my review. After having deleted the app, I saw that an update was available that said it dealt with the very annoying ad issue. I took a chance and reinstalled it and am delighted that I'm only getting pop-up ads between games—and so far, no ads that force me to external sites. If this maintains, we're back at 5 stars! Revising my review, as I give up on this app now. Another reviewer said the ads were unobtrusive—I wish I knew how to get unobtrusive ads, but I get constant pop-up ads whenever I click to start a new game—and sometimes when I've already started a new game. The ads have gotten more annoying over time: lasting 5 seconds, during which I can do nothing to close them, or taking me to external websites that I have zero interest in. I'd LOVE to pay for an ad-free version of this app, if only one were available. As it is, I'm DONE and deleting it. I love this app: crisp graphics, loads of options, very stable (doesn't freeze often, boot me out, etc.). I can't give it 5 stars, though, because it often—and annoyingly—pops up ads for other games AFTER a game has started! These are timed games, so I often have to restart a game after an annoying ad—or two—has popped up. I've no interest in playing other games, so all these ads do is annoy me. And it seems the more I play, the more intrusive and frequent the pop-up ads become. It gets so frustrating, I'll stop playing the game for weeks. Fix that, and this would be a 10-star app!

I was recently told that my brain is starting to show signs of aging and that I need to keep it active. This game is WONDERFUL FOR THAT PURPOSE. I make up more mah Jongg games with pretty interesting components. I truly love it?
