My iPhone worked perfectly for over a year, then I use this cleaner app and it all went to crap. Websites I frequent no longer load on safari, my photos are messed up, saved info gone, etc. Steer clear of this gimmick.

FIRST NOTE: so far, discovered this does not clean the NY Times app, recent phone calls or recently used app caches. These and similar systems must be at least set for opt-in cleaning to provide security. Cutting 2 stars. Note: this was done in airplane mode to prevent transmission of what’s been purgedThe first thing your average C programmer’s taught to do is “set up caches, you’ll need em”. Programmers are much better than setting ‘rm up than clearing and erasing data. And iPhone LinuxFreeBSD is based on retaining every bit of data passing through for 1)Sorry to say, but infottheft, grabbing really personal data about “your phone, not you” the industry ‘s excuse, as if these things are communal. I mean how many people send their locations from your phone to find the nearest burger joint, or gas station? Or send messages to other communal phones for a single user, And of course 2) faster response time/savings on data transmission in a day when voice and data should both be free with a cheaper contract because, let’s face it, the industry is designed for squeezing consumers, and cell data through towers is very uncontrolled, and is about to become even more uncontrolled. Theft of either physical phone or simple phone cracking from anywhere provides an awful lot of info about you based on where you’ve been. I don’t even trust a program I can’t get the source code for, and, while suggesting it seems good, run it with all net access turned off until I can prove it’s not downloading before erasing. Will update after running it through a monitored server UNTIL THEN, get and use safely

More directions would be nice. Perhaps a User Guide availability on your Web Site that users can refer to and/or print out would be useful.
