Not a Route 66 app

This is just a maps app, and you have to download every state's map. It was billed as a Route 66 app and it is not.

First of all I purchased traffic instead of navigation, I was not aware you can purchase three different ones. I notified them they really did not care they got their money. I purchase navigation and traveling back home from a funeral I attended in Virginia we were in Delaware the In stead of directing me to NJ, NY it sent me to exit of New Castle which was in Pennsylvania I had no idea why it did that it was too late for me to bear right to the way I was suppose to go. We was lost for about 30 min traveling narrow back roads. It was pouring so bad to be lost on a back road. It got us to VA and Va but I notice twice the navigation was in error.

I previously gave this app 1 star because the update from Route 66 Navigate broke the apps functionality. I decided to delete the app from my Mac and iPhone. I did a fresh download of Magic Earth, installed it on my iPhone, and then downloaded a new map file. I can now locate street addresses that previously gave me trouble. However, some speed limits are still broken. Interstate 580 in California is the Autobahn on steroids. It is 6 to 7 lanes wide. Magic Earth displays the speed limit as 55 mph. This is the truck speed limit reserved for the 2 right most lanes and not that for cars. The new maps and lane suggestions are perfect. Magic Earth is once again my go to navigation app.

Although in beta, there new map views are incredible. The satellite view with traffic overlay really helps identify landmarks. I am using 6S+ so I do have a larger screen. The traffic routing is good. I have difficulty accessing the settings/menu from the map while navigating a route.

Thought this was a great program. Then I tried to find a poi which Navigon, waze, and Here all find. It cannot find it but does give me something similar in Italy. Really? I'm in NJ usa. Then in had it try to find a couple of different addresses out of my iPhone address book. One worked...but the others cannot be found. Why? Also with the app HERE , a route I calculated showed traffic but this program showed nothing and I have purchased traffic. I'm not even sure traffic is working. Anyway, I'm not sure this is a good navigation program. The company needs to fix all the issues and then maybe it will be good.

I've always been expecting the best S60 and PPC GPS app to be available on my iPhone. Now I finally have it. It's beautiful and smooth. But it's just useless. I am in Shanghai, China. The app positioned me at a point which is at least 500 meters away from where I exactly am. And it couldn't find out my hotel on the map either. I don't care if it works well in other countries. If the developer dares sell China navigation at 113CNY, he should at least ensure the product to function well in the area. A reminder for all users, try the map thoroughly before paying for the navigation.
