I lost 300 coins. I tried to buy something but my phone connected to a broken network. I had to leave disconnect come back and try again. but I payed for it but never got what I payed for. and now I can’t afford it

Good, but no new sets

The game is amazing, but Wizards Of The Coast never added a new set after Amonket. Right now, on paper, they just released Rivals Of Ixalan which is 3 sets past Amonket! The game has great quality, but I wish they would add the new sets, sooner than later.

AI is too hard and no Ixalan

This is a decent fun game and it’s a great teaching tool if you want to get into magic . But I have a few problems . The AI is way too hard . It’s not the AI itself that gets harder every level but instead your deck that gets worse and worse every level . I’m on a level and I can’t beat it because every card I have requires me to put 1 or more -1/-1 counters on my creatures and the creatures they give you aren’t even that good . Another problem I have is no Ixalan . I need my Ixalan cards . It’s not a big problem but still I really want it. I also really wish I could scan my paper cards into a digital deck so I test my cards when I have no one to play with

I have played Magic for years and was excited to play the electronic version. That excitement lasted about two weeks. By that time, I became very tired of the AI drawing every gold card in the set and having plenty of land to use them while I sat with either no land, all land, or able to get close to a win until the AI drew just what it needed when it needed it to win. These matches would never occur in real life this frequently. The fun factor leaves very quickly. Maybe I will come back if they fix it.

Fun, if you can progress

I have beaten Dovin Baan three times now. Apparently, if you move from WiFi to cellular coverage, it disconnects from the server and NONE of your progress is saved. Each time I’ve beaten Baan, I’m sent back to Main Menu screen and it tells me I must reconnect to server. When I get back into Story Mode, Baan is still there and must be defeated to move forward. Otherwise, this game is a great way to play when away from your decks!

I unfortunately agree with most of the reviews I have read about this game- could be great but you get mana screwed about 9 out of every 10 games... so, yeah... that’s fun- it seems like the developers don’t really care about bad reviews though...

Game always syncing at the worst time

Game continually syncs during a critical moment in the battle, which forces both players to drop and get the loss. Also, quits in the middle of a battle a lot. The app just shuts down!

This is an awesome game, I have been a long time magic fan and enjoy the gameplay and the entirely free aspect of the app; especially since buying real cards can get really expensive. Despite this, in the several years I have played this there have been a lot of issues. One recurring issue is that after winning games against AI I have not received my coins. In total probably a good 300 coins lost (which is enough to buy two booster packs.) I have also noticed some things with the gameplay can get a little screwed up. For instance, i was just playing a game and had to pause. When I came back, my most powerful creature (a 10/10 hydra) was in my graveyard rather than on my battlefield. I checked for instants, sorceries, and abilities my opponent could have played that I missed but there was nothing to justify my hydra dying. Despite this I managed to win the game (it was actually a pretty clutch move right in the end?.) When the game was over, I did not receive my coins for winning. If the developers can fix the very common crashes and glitches this game will certainly deserve a 5/5 star rating because it is absolutely one of the best games ever in terms of gameplay and strategy.
