Fun, but too short and bad hint system

MahewaJT

This game has great graphics and I love the tone. The puzzles were interesting and generally well done. There are two main drawbacks for me. First, I think the game is too short given it’s price. Second, I think the hint system, which is crucial for a game like this, has a terrible flaw. Generally I don’t care that you have to play a mini game to access the walkthrough. The problem is that it shows you the walkthrough for the area you’re in, regardless of where you might be in the chain of puzzles. So you might have access to 6 or 7 areas and not be sure where to go next. You’ll have to go to each area, play the mini game, and hope there’s something you can actually do there. This also means that you will sometimes bypass the actual puzzle accidentally because the walkthrough for the area you’re in just has the final solution to another area’s puzzle.

Prison Puzzle Impossible

Eddie S.

I was really enjoying the game up until the prison safe puzzle with the green triangle. Unfortunately the “Cheat Book” is no help and basically tells you that to move on you need a to solve the puzzle. I wish there was a way to bypass the puzzle or rest it to something else like the wiki suggests but even when I step out of the room or reset the game the puzzle is the same. If a developer is reading this please help me out! I really want to continue playing this visually beautiful and plot based game!

Broken

Third room in, crane picks you up but won't drop you. Don't waste your money. Too buggy

Awesome but 7.0 108 no sound

sunaja119

Love the game. Playing on an ipad pro 12.9 and no glitches until the tower room. No matter how many times I try, I can't get any sound on the radio or the keys outside.

Best game on App Store in my opinion

sli12345

This is my most favorite game in the App Store! I’ve played it over and over. I have it on my iPhone and iPad and it runs great, no glitches or bugs. It’s a beautiful game with a good story line. I can’t wait to see what other games you all come out with

Great..except for...

dd81018

Great idea and game except I get the inventory items to go where they are to be used. I have time, know where and how to use, but can’t get them to go there. For instance, the key won’t go into the slot: The arrow says it goes there, it has been positioned all around it at various times, but it flies back up to inventory. Only one example, but that type of thing has happened repeatedly in this game. Too frustrating to keep it up. Would be nice to just go when the solution has been found. After several days, just deleted in the thing. Too bad.

Space Invaders game is annoying

The Space Invaders game in the arcade quits too easily when your finger missed the control buttons. Very, very annoying. Fix it please.

Love. Love. Love.

I own all the Amanita Design games. They are all amazing!! Machinarium is still my favorite game though. Kudos to the game designers!

Controls are horrible

Unhappy45678

They don’t work well. You’ll just be tapping the screen all night hoping something happens.

I love this game

Greedydaveo

This game has sat on my phone since release and every few months I come back and complete it again. The art and sound offer such a nostalgic element for me that every time I revisit it I get that warm fuzzy feeling that only a few games can provide. I had a temporary problem where the save data would not be correct but the developer addressed that very quickly once I brought it up.
