Some fun things to try:
- Try juggling 3 balls long enough to earn a juggling achievement
- See if you can blow up the Umphee with the bomb ball
- Don't let any bubbles touch the sand for 3 levels in a row. You'll get a clean sand achievement.
- Hit the Umphee with an orange ball. He will dig down in the sand and fetch you a coin.
- Catch two clear capsules in a row to make the clam appear
If you like MacBrickout show your love. Three modest in-app purchases:
1) Unlock full version (you get free balls, bomb balls, lasers, bonus levels, musical bricks and much more)
2) Unlock all levels (faster than trying to unlock them one by one)
3) Super Umphee Ball 5-pack (great way to blast through a tough level)

"It's like when they remade Tron. Still the fun game you remember from the 80's but a 2011 look and feel. 5 stars!" -Compcaddy

I paid 4.99 for the full version but all levels past the seventh are still locked.
I’ve been playing this game since the version 3.0 days. Please bring the 3.0 and Mania levels to the mobile platform. I’m sticking to your old 4.2.3 version on my PC because it’s fully loaded with all the old levels in it.
I don’t get it there are 3.0 levels and mania levels in the pc version but not the iOS version but I am not in the mood to find and place a register file to play those levels so please add them to the iOS version and this game is up with my top brick breakers which are not counting this game bashi blocks all 5 brick breaker revolution games a brick breaker with a hand drawn art style and unique gimmicks that I forget the name of so you made a good game so please add in the mania and 3.0 levels and update the pc version to 5.0
I have been playing this game for about fifteen years on my Mac and I have to say it is even better on the IOS!!!! Thank you to Mr. Carson Whitsett for making this game and thank you even more for letting me beta test it!!!
wow this game is a blast. I have played this genre before and always enjoyed it but this game is the "Boardwalk" and "Park Place" of them all! Each level is like I have a new game altogether with the variety of maps and gameplay. Pros: - variety of balls, sliders, weapons and special bricks - sound effects have me chuckling out loud. Makes for some funny looks when I play in public. - good for a quick play to get high score and pass time during commercials, or for a solid sit-down and break bricks session. Cons: - minor, the gradual speed up after a pause. I know why its there and its a good thing, but its a little slow to get back to full speed for my taste, since I'm usually really excited to get playing again. Suggestion: - Each time I get a pill or ball for the first time or hit a special block, it would be cool to have a little text alert appear on screen telling me what I just got.

I was so excited when I saw this game would be coming to the iPhone! I must've played it about 10 years ago, and it's always been my favorite breakout-style game. It's a load of fun and wonderfully made. Tons of little easter eggs to find too (some of which I remember, and some which surprise me!). You can only get a good sense of the original graphics when you play it on a non-retina display, otherwise it gets smoothed out a bit. However, for best maneuverability and visibility I recommend playing it on an iPad at 2x size. That said, I have a few things of note and suggestions: - There are only two control modes: absolute and relative. With both of these, you still have to move your finger most of the way across the screen. And if your screen isn't immaculate, or if you have a screen protector on, it can be a very imprecise way of moving the paddle. I find it more difficult in general than using a mouse in the original version. I hope better options are added in the future. - This app only includes 1 of the 3(?) level sets that were in the original game. Hopefully those will be added in a future update...? And will we see support for the level editor as well? - There's currently no way to sync your progress between devices, or even export/import a progress file. This would be quite useful. - There is no support for the landscape orientation. I'm guessing this was a deliberate choice, but it seems like it might be a natural thing to add later. Especially on the iPad...
Whacked out fun, pure and simply my favorite game of all. Even Angry Birds are mad about it. Bought the upgrade and thrilled with the features. Thanks for all of the time you obviously have spent to make Macbrickout a BLAST!
