The updated app is simply one of the best game apps I've ever played on my iPad. The original was fun and challenging, but this takes it to a whole new level. The graphics and sound improvements are subtle, but definitely enhance the experience. But the best thing is the addition of two new ships. The traditional lander is challenging, but in a good way, not in a frustrating way. But the scout has become my favorite ... it is an absolute HOOT to fly, because it's so fast, responsive and deceptively stable (I say deceptively because it IS possible to throw off its balance, and when that happens, it gives you quite the shot of adrenaline). My only complaint, and the only thing stopping me short of 5 stars, is that pop-up ads come at the most inopportune moment — just as you're starting a level. I've found that if you've already applied thrust when the ad pops up, then once the ad is done, you sometimes return to the game to find your ship already under power and accelerating. I don't mind pop-up ads, but I wish they would come at the end of or between levels. Other than that minor complaint, this is an excellent game.

I'd pay a couple of bucks to get rid of the ads but the author hasn't made that a possibility. I'd give 5 stars to a reasonably priced paid version.

I've played a number of lunar lander games, and this one is my favorite so far. The graphics, physics, and simplicity are all perfect for iOS gameplay. BUT-- popup ads absolutely wreck the gameplay experience. I would gladly pay 3.99 for this if it meant no ads. Please release a paid version of this game!
Unplayable with advertising appearing during gameplay

I've been a developer for years and a game dev too... I can't believe another coder.. A game developer no less, a advertisement that shows during gameplay causing death and lose... So this game randomly crashes you mid play... Can't even finish level one without one or two ads... I'd grade the programming work.. The game part that is.. The advertising monetization implementation looks like it was done by a one year programming rookie

Ads a little annoying, it pops up every few seconds. It almost impossible to finish the misson without crashing into something or running out of fuel.
Wish I could pay to get rid of ads...

As with the android version of this game, it’s very fun and entertaining, while being moderately to highly difficult. I just got my first pop up ad while trying to play level 2, and while I’ll keep the app for the time being, I won’t be playing it much until I can pay to guarantee the death of all the ads. Never thought I’d want this so much; Devs: Please add an in-app purchase to remove all ads from this great game!
