Great idea; so many glitches

Three stars for the amazing graphics. I also like that pretty much everything is clickable, even if it doesn’t have any items to collect. But the glitches!! As others have said, objects disappear when you need them (where the he’ll did the purple ball go?!?) and the “swipe for magic” just zooms out, preventing access to a puzzle or object. Frustrating, but I’m willing to give the developers the benefit of the doubt as long as they promise they are working on an update!

Developers..... No need to read anymore reviews. Please see what you can to fix this & it will be a tremendous success. Like we all said.. Great graphics.. Story is laid out beautifully... Then you attempt to actually play... No go. I wanted to delete it so bad, & had my finger on the trigger.. but I decided to read the reviews & give it one more shot.

It’s a fun and beautifully made game but every time I get to the puzzle behind the painting the game crashes. I’ve reinstalled the game several times but every time I get to the that point, the game refuses to let me continue. I would love to play more if this problem is addressed but at this point I feel like I wasted my money.

The game has a great feel and amazing graphics. That’s about where the good news stops. The controls are glitchy and confusing. When you want to zoom in on something, sometimes you won’t be able to interact with it and you will have trouble figuring out if you can. Why? Sometimes you have to zoom in not once, not twice, but three times to interact with certain things. Worse than this is the “magic” interaction where you have to swipe to the side with two fingers (like you are casting a spell, cool idea). It’s not super clear when and where you can do this, and I would say 80% of the time, it simply zooms you out instead. At first I thought this was a mechanism to let you know this wasn’t the right place or time to use the magic, but no. It’s just bad controls. I could have excused all the above as quirkiness, but the absolute deal breaker is the bugs. On my first play attempt, I think I solved things in the wrong order because I got kind of stuck where the solution for one puzzle got moved out of sight. After a restart, got far, but one of the puzzles was bugged out to where it was unsolvable. Of course I didn’t know this and spent over an hour trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. When I reloaded the app, the puzzle worked now. However, whatever I was supposed to do next, the item for it was simply missing (I finally broke down and looked at a walkthrough). Another reload, and still missing. I gave up then. I don’t know why they released this, it’s totally unfinished.

Name of game should be “Crash”!!!

I have no idea if the game is fun, a challenge or worth the low purchase price as it always crashed before I could finish. Even more frustrating was the fact that items found would mysteriously disappear and I would have to start all over again.

The controls on this game blow. Trying to swipe with two fingers takes many tries before it decides you’re swiping and not pinching. And it doesn’t preserve all your items across game saves. I had a mechanical bird when I quit playing but when I came back it was no longer in my inventory nor was it back in its place for me to pick up again. Update: this game apparently doesn’t work at all on an iPad Pro. I was so frustrated that I tried following a walkthrough and items still disappear or don’t activate so you can’t use them. Very irritating. Don’t waste your money if you have an iPad Pro.
