Love this app, ever since I started my mind is so much sharper and quicker with thinking/ decision making.

Great idea, but I’m sure there’s other ways to get money for a good product. Only 3 games a day doesn’t do anything for you. Doesn’t matter if they are different each day. It seems like the developers care more about money then helping your brain.

Luminosity provides clear and concise activities for the brain in a brief period. I enjoy playing daily!!!

here’s my experience based on me not having premium it’s definitely frustrating that you can’t see your stats or insights if you don’t have premium. i feel like even a simple insight should be free here i wish there was an option to say which areas you want to focus on so that those games would be more likely to appear there are too many emails. like you get an email just for playing a game a lot some categories of games are way more fun than others. the memory games are all so simple and boring, but the attention games (esp the coffee game) are so fun. this esp is unfortunate for me bc i downloaded this app mainly to strengthen my memory, but i just am really not motivated to play the memory games bc they’re so boring i wish there were push notifications for daily reminders to play this part deserves a separate area from the bullet points above: i’ve been using this app for a couple weeks now, and i just played this word game with a space theme that got me so riled up that it made me immediately start writing a review. some of the definitions given are so bad, so vague, or not even the most common definition. and then some of the words chosen are just so left-field that it’s impossible to have known what the words were. what is the purpose of this game? “vocabulary proficiency: the ability to understand and use words.” so it’s not for us to be able to unscramble letters like a puzzle and use our brains that way? is it to strengthen our vocabulary? then why do we get marked down for not knowing a word? shouldn’t we be rewarded for learning a new word? then there’s the time limit. in most word scramble games, there’s no time limit so that you can have time to think and put the letters together. in many word scramble games, you’re given extra points for getting an uncommon word or a long word— you’re not penalized for not knowing an uncommon word or not using all the letters available. this time limit that is SO SHORT, ONLY A COUPLE SECONDS, puts this pressure on me, and with that + the bad definitions + the uncommon words, it’s like... how am i really supposed to complete this level? and when the variety of words is so wide, like one word is “clean” and the next word is “opined,” what am i supposed to do? there’s another word game that has an underwater theme, and it’s way more balanced and fun. but this one? honestly pretty frustrating.

Fun Mental Challenges

I didn’t like this app at first. I had been playing another brain game and had grown bored with the same old challenges. So I gave Luminosity another go. I love it!!

Working memory

cameronthoma712

A few years ago I was diagnosed with ADHD with a minor disorder in Working Memory. The doctor said this can go away with practice. I downloaded Lumosity and have been having fun with it. I really like the attention, memory, and reading games. I’ve been homing in on Memory Matrix and Word Bubbles since I have trouble with those areas. I wish there was some games that focused on punctuation in grammar so I could improve in that area as well.

In the App Store it seems fun but almost everything requires you to pay. Really annoying

They do not care about you

didnt have to shishtar snap

This entire game is built around finding out how to take your money. What are three games supposed to for you? I’m doing this for my mental health, but Lumosity doesn’t care. They just want purchases, ads, and in-game sales. Pathetic how low companies like this will go for green paper. I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

The app that’s too smart

Lonster guy

They can build an app, but it will not run in landscape. Makes you wonder.why cell phone mode is ridiculous. People even make stupid videos in cell phone mode and are silly enough to post their garbage on YouTube. Why on earth is everything in portrait mode? People are too lazy?
