Manual and automatic modes let you choose which camera settings should be controlled manually and which should be set automatically, giving you control when you want it and getting out of your way when you don't.
In M (manual) mode, slide your finger anywhere in the preview area to control the slider and adjust the selected camera setting. Slide closer to the bottom of the screen for finer control. This lets you adjust any setting to any value within the possible range.
In A (automatic) mode, tap your subject in the preview area to automatically adjust the selected camera setting to the proper value.

I built Luff because I missed the fun of taking photographs on a DSLR, adjusting each control until it's just. I tried to make an interface that would gives you fine control without getting in your way. I hope you like it! Doesn't get in the way of actually taking the photo, but gives me the ability to make fine adjustments on the fly. I would love to see an integrated gallery so I can see the photo I just took, rather than switch to the Photos app. But that is my only gripe as of now. Nice work!

Love this app! Well worth the money. Luff gives real photographers complete control of the iPhone camera. It's a lot of fun to experiment with and I've been able to get some really great shots!

An app do full manual control. Certainly took long enough. Only qualm is that I don't believe the 1/2 second shutter is actually a true 1/2 second, but that's nitpicking.
Super dandy for the most part

I love how everything works with this app. Smarter people who know more about photography can explain why it's so good. However, whenever I take a picture, it never shows up on my camera roll or in my photos. I guess there are a few shots of mine that are just swirling through the void. It's okay.

Elegantly simple app that lets me appreciate the low light capabilities of my camera. What I look forward to in future updates include: (1) A one-button reset of all settings to default. (2) Less ambiguous toggle switches between manual and auto. (3) Video capability--yeah I know that's not what it was built for.

I want to say thank you to the developers of this beautiful app :) I just hope that in the future they fix the image quality, I'm not saying that it's bad but it seems to be smaller than 8mp especially when you use longer exposures
