Best Cantonese App I Found so Far

I am from Hong Kong and since being married to a non cantonese speaking husband and living in an English dominant country like America...Cantonese inevitably became a foreign langauge to my children. They do understand some of what I say to them but do not respond in Cantonese...and when they do try, they have an English accent. Obviously English is their first langauge so I wanted to have something to help me encourage them with Cantonese. It is not easy to find an app that is Cantonese speaking and utilizes Traditional characters which I prefer. I just tested the app out and love it and have already purchased the complete package set! It is easy to use and has a reward sticker sheet to motivate them. But best of all, the pronunciation is clearly audible! I haven't let my kids (3, 7, and 9 years old) try it out yet but will definitely write another review to let you all know how it goes in a week or two.

Easy to use

If you don't know any Cantonese this is difficult to start with. The whole app besides the menu is in cantonese. After a little bit you get the hang of it and can start identifying things.

This is the best app I have found for learning cantonese. Tones are good. Fun for kids. I wish there were more words. I need an app that will teach enough so thay my daughter can learn full sentences. Overall it is fun, simple, excellent tones, and my daughter loves it!

He's 3 and really started absorbing the tones less than a week of playing. The reward system is a charm and so is the host's voice. Once my son masters the basics, I'm looking forward to expanding. Great job!

This is a great app for kids! The basic free version was great for my 4yo, my 7yo quickly learned all the vocabulary in the basic version and moved on to the paid version. The money is well worth it with beautiful graphics and crisp, clear pronunciation.

We love it. It has a nice selection of words to teach my kids. I hope that they can add more vocabulary so that they can become even more proficient in Cantonese.
