Love to learn

Kyalam

My 4-year-old son loves this app and is very motivated to learn his numbers

Pleases picky kinder gardener

Mama of 5 boys

My youngest loves this app for practicing basic kindergarten skills! He keeps asking to play it and loves the pirate theme and prizes. The app doesn't talk in an overly babyish way but uses a nice strong British voice.

Too hard for preK

junior, but not junior

Thought this was for 4+, but it's really for Kindergarten. First few questions asked for subtraction, to know right from left. A bit tough when you haven't been taught those things yet!

Great, until the glitches

Dead Lover

My son really enjoys the game, but when he "gets a letter", it freezes up and the game has to be completely shut down and restarted, only to return to the same problem minutes later. Fix please.

Makes math fun

Megfw

Both my kids (5 and 8) enjoy this game, even though they're at very different places math-wise, and the best part is, they just think it's a fun game that happens to involve some quantitative activities, and don't feel like they're practicing math while they play.

My daughter's favorite app!

liam's maman

My 4-year-old daughter says that this is her favorite app! She loves it and it is educational so I love it too.

Helps Children to Love to Count

Terrific2s

This is a great app for teaching 1-10 number sense. It has a pirate storyline and theme. The app features 10 games that are continually recycled in an interesting and engaging way. The games are thoughtfully designed to be ever so slightly increasing in challenge as the number of tasks completed increases from 1-700. There are also prizes to be collected along the way. This is done in a subtle way as to not overpower the game with gaming, but to keep the focus on learning. This app has just the right amount of themes and rewards to be interesting to children, while providing them with great learning opportunities. This is a must have preschool app for teaching 1-10 number concepts.
