Just needs to ring ALWAYS, whether the phone is on silent or not, the app is open or not, the volume is all the way up or not. The only excuse for the alarm NOT TO RING should be if the PHONE IS OFF!!

I take a lot of meds and my sleep pattern is all over the board. Sometimes I need to be awaken when I haven't had enough sleep. I found myself sleeping through my regular alarms. This sucker really delivers! The foghorn shocked me awake. Great app!

I love all the options to wake me up! I would say the only downside is having to pay for the snooze feature... but at the same time, it gets my butt up!
