This is a sure shot winner in front of kids! The UI is very intuitive and much closer to young ones. Love the addition of cartoons.

The best APP ever! If you've used Hooked on Phonics reading programs this progresses much the same way. Much easier to understand than Montessori. I have four kids. My first two learned with Hooked on Phonics in the old book series. Now that it isn't available I have been stumbling trying to find something for my next two. Montessori was too difficult and expects kids to learn a lot in a short time. Not really self progressing. THIS APP ONLY MAKES IT SO KIDS CAN DO THE PROGRAM ON THE IPAD OR IPHONE. You still have to PAY FOR AN ACCOUNT ($$$) on there web site to be able to use it. IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY. Except for the story's they try to sell you as add-ons. You can get those for free on other apps. My son has a short attention span so something broken up and entertaining is great. You can customize how much "tunes" it plays also and take it off if you want to. They won't progress until they are ready. It's fantastic!

I installed and opened the app only to find that, while the app is free, you can't use it without a subscription!!!!

My son is 11 and has Down syndrome. I have been searching for a long time for a program that I can control the speed and will repeat when needed. He actually opens this program before a game now and we are on lesson 20. It changes scenes and keeps him totally engaged through the lesson. It focuses on h dolsh (sp?) sight words that he is already working on. This is the perfect program for us and is well worth the money! Please create more!

I really love this game! First off I was disappointed because I couldn't get it off the trial game. So I googles it & found the website. From there I purchased 2 seats for my kids. Once I got my user name & password my kids were able to play the game. It would be nice if the app had instructions when you down loaded it that said you had to go to their website to get the full paid version. Now for my review: I have twins & both are getting ready for 1st grade. They are on different levels. I love how I can customize each child's game to their level of learning. It is a fun game with the cartoons that interact with the game & keep my boys focused on learning. It is a bit pricey, but I have seen a difference in my twins since they started playing & learning.
Glitchy on Spring Cleaning

The app overall is fantastic. My son who is 6 years old has learned a lot. However, every time we get to lessons that are paired with the Spring Cleaning cartoon the program slows down to a crawl making it pretty impossible to complete the lesson. I wish this could be fixed.
Speed up the lessons!

My son would love this, but for the love of God can you speed up the directions and activities? He gets so bored waiting for the same directions over and over.... Waiting for the tub to walk in and set up... Waiting for the keyboard to dance out and set up... Waiting for more redundant directions. My kids can tolerate 75% of one lesson before they go insane and want to quit. They won't want to play again for two months until they play again only to remember why they hate this game so much in the first place. It has so much wasted potential...
